The Divine Decibel
ALL ORIGINAL MUSIC - ALL THE TIME
The Divine Decibel was formed in July 2023 by Dom Williams on drums and Dana Barker on guitar. They approached Tom Barron to join on bass and proposed busking on the corner of Lakeside and West 9th in downtown Cleveland (Lighthouse Park).
With favorable weather and available electricity, they commenced playing. Dom and Dana contributed original material for the initial sessions, later integrating some of Tom's songs. They collectively agreed to focus solely on original compositions. The only covers in their repertoire are TV theme songs (currently 7th Heaven and The Price Is Right)
Their genre blends rock, indie, alternative, funk, soul, hip-hop and whatever else listeners may discern. Following the notable busking debut, TDD has amassed 30 original songs.
Busking served as rehearsals until they secured arrangements with Coco's Selfie Space (@cocosselfiespace) in the 5th Street Arcade, downtown Cleveland. This served as TDD's rehearsal space until they moved to a studio/rehearsal space at Cleveland's Rock and Roll City Studios.
TDD's overarching goal is to provide meaningful and insightful music while promoting downtown Cleveland and spreading love and understanding everywhere.
